Aims and scope
Acta Orthopaedica is an open access peer reviewed journal that publishes basic and clinical research in the field of orthopedics and related sub disciplines.
The journal is owned by the Nordic Orthopaedic Federation and is the official publication of this federation.
The journal accepts original articles, registered reports and study protocols. Articles requiring extensive space, such as monographs, doctoral theses and congress transactions, are published as supplements.
The journal operates a single blind peer review policy.
All articles will be made freely and permanently available online through gold open access publication.
